Their selection is incredible, and what they haven’t got in their showroom, they’ll have a vendor they can call on to get what we need.

Their ability to meet our design needs as well as our budgets make them super easy to work with, and they tend to go the extra mile for our clients and us because we do a lot of business with them. Plus, they are continually updating their showroom selection to include new products and designs, so we can always count on a fresh and unique variety that is reflective of current trends.

We Like To Work With Vendors Who Are On The Same Page

It’s essential for us to work with vendors and suppliers who think the same way we do. For instance, we would never sell a client on a product that we didn’t have confidence in.

Even though you’ll always find the latest and greatest in their selection, they don’t solely focus on the new trends – they like to keep a good mix of traditional styles in there as well along with updated versions just coming on the market. They’re not always trying to push the same products because they know it’s an easy sell; they’re passionate about what they do, and they know their stuff, inside and out.

Educating The Customer 

Like us, they would never let someone install something that’s not going to perform well. If a customer comes in looking for something specific, but they know it’s not going to deliver on performance or practicality, they’ll tell you right away.

They’re really good about educating people about how to take care of their products, how certain items are installed, and the prices of things in terms of square footage. For instance, they might say, this one, you’re going to pay X amount, that one, you’re going to pay Y amount. This one’s cheaper, but has a better benefit in this department, and so on.

They can afford to be up-front about it because they don’t make commissions on their products (as far as we know), so they’re more about selling somebody the right product for the specific application.

The best thing about working with suppliers like Custom Floors and More is that they will talk to you, get to know you a little bit. By doing so, they can tailor your products more closely to your lifestyle.

For example, they’ll ask if you have kids, if you have dogs, if you have a pool that you’re worried about coming in and out of, who uses the space you are remodeling – all that. They like to engage you in a conversation because then, they can point you in the right direction. This helps narrow the process a little bit further so we can move on to choosing colors and finishes.

They are a family-run business, so they relate to their customers like family. It’s friendly, warm, comfortable, conversational dynamic – but completely professional because they truly are experts at what they do. They’ve been in business for more than 25 years—since 1993—and they all work together as a team.

Small Showroom, Big Service

Hearing all this, you might think that it’s a giant store, but the whole place is probably less than 1000 square feet. However, it’s what’s inside that counts; their selection is second to none, and there’s nothing extraneous in the store.

They work with a lot of builders and remodelers just like us, and they will sell to a homeowner, but they probably don’t get a lot of walk-in traffic simply because they don’t have a big, showy storefront. You wouldn’t know it was there unless you knew it was there.

Mostly they work by appointment only, mainly because of the small size of the place. Plus, they want to speak directly to each and every person that comes through their door so that they can give them the best customer service they possibly can.
